Tianqi Li (pronunciation: [‘tɪ-entʃi: ‘li:]) is a fifth-year Ph.D. student in Department of Economics in University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the United States. His current research interests include constrained estimation and inference, statistical learning, and high-dimensional econometrics.
In 2019, He achieved his bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Economics in School of Economics and Management in Wuhan University in China. His advisor for undergraduate theses (High-speed railway for Econ and LSTM network for Math) was Professor Jingbo Cui.
